An update from Greg's son James
I've been getting email from friends and students of dad (Greg), and so I decided to post a quick message here to give everyone an update. Dad's taking a combination of two medicines that together act like a kind of chemotherapy. The combination of medicines and dad's continuous fight against the cancer make for some pretty tough days. But it's great to see him gather up enough strength to talk with friends and teach when he can. This is Kiyofumi, one of your students at Saddlleback College, a short Japanese guy in your age usually sat in one of the front row seats trying to get as close as possible to the great teacher. Like many of your students, I miss your class. I play your CD's when I work alone in my office at night and I feel your presence in front of me teaching me the codes and melodies, the beautiful stuff!
